Inquisitive
Inquisitive

An inquisitive individual is defined as someone who is given to inquiry, research or asking questions. He or she is always eager for knowledge.

In the workplace, an inquisitive individual absorbs all the information presented to him and asks questions that aid him in understanding his job better. This trait might result in him being understood as someone who does not understand his job. Because of their constant need for knowledge and clarity, inquisitive individuals are often able to perform in their jobs better. Fear of being reprimanded for asking too many questions does not faze the inquisitive individual.

Inquisitive people would do well in jobs that require a lot of research and depth. Journalists and writers in particular would do well to have this trait. Other professions that an inquisitive individual might do well in would be as a private investigator, detective, lawyer or researcher.
